DSEJ extends winter vacation for all schools functioning in summer zones of region till Jan-12 | KNO

Srinagar, Jan 06 (KNO): In view of extreme cold weather conditions, Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Saturday extended winter vacation for all government and recognized private schools of summer zones of the region till January-12. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director of School Education Jammu said, “In view of extreme cold weather conditions, the winter vacations of government and private recognized schools functioning in summer zones of Jammu division are further extended till 12-01-2024.” The directorate however directed all the teaching staff to resume their duties from January-08. “HOIs shall ensure classes for class 10 to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period.” DSEJ said that any laxity in this regard from any government or private school will be viewed seriously and dealt under rules—(KNO)
